Dr. Brian Gerber M.D. is a Board Certified Urologist and a diplomate with the American Board of Urology. He has been in practice in the northwest suburbs since 1998 and in Elgin since 2000. His practice is in general urology, specializing in BPH, prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, bladder issues (UTI, cancer, over-active bladder), kidney stones, as well as hormone replacement.

Dr. Gerber received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1992, and completed his two years of General Surgery and four years of Urology Residency at The University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998.

Several years ago he noticed he was slowing down due to fatigue and lack of energy. He began to study and research aging with ways to slow it down and in some cases reverse it. After he saw the results in himself as a patient his passion in the field grew to help others optimize and slow their aging process.

Dr. Gerber was trained in Age Management Medicine at the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation, and he is a member of the Age Management Medical Group (AMMG) and is the Medical Director and founder of Optimal Aging Institute. The Institutes goal is to have you look and feel younger while living longer by using evidence based hormone optimization, nutrition, exercise, and supplements.

Aging is inevitable, but how you age is not.
